MTE Advanced Manufacturing Best Practice visit

The Irish Medtech Association Advanced Manufacturing Working Group and the Irish Medtech Skillnet are delighted to present their second best practice sharing event in Siemens, Amberg. The facility is a benchmark example of the ‘smart factory’ in practice and has received numerous awards. The Amberg factory already combines the real and virtual worlds: Products communicate with machines, and all production processes are optimally integrated and controlled via IT.
