Objectives

This programme aims to provide the Life Sciences Sector with a course in communications skills development, which will be available to employees and potential entrants to the sector. It is expected that the programme will lead to more effective interpersonal and work related communications between individuals and teams.

Content includes

Acquire communications skills relevant to work related, personal and interpersonal development

• Explore the use of modern information and communications technology (ICT), in personal and work related lives
• Develop an awareness of the essential role played by communications and relevant legislation in human interaction
• Develop the academic and vocational language, literacy and/or numeracy skills related to communications
